@professorgreen & @exampleyoutwit side by side. This is a great time for UK music and it’s incredible to see two of my favourite artists both up there with chart topping albums and singles to boot. Both have a rather turbulent history but it’s testament to them and their music that they’ve made it to where they’re at today. When you get to know an artist personally, you come to realise just how much of a struggle the record industry is, or at least, has become in recent years. However, I assume that most won’t have suffered setbacks quite as large as Pro and Example, and these two shiney plastic discs are proof that it can happen if you work at it. Congratulations to both Pro and Example for two HUGE records. I urge you to head to your nearest CD store (or supermarket..!), drop less than £20, and pick both up this week. Of course, you could always hit up iTunes, but there’s something nostalgic about the physical product that has brought even more value to my latest purchase.
